The work I have done
We’re bringing convenient healthcare services closer to the customers and putting local pharmacies back where they belong – at the very heart of our community.
Pharmadoctor is the UK's leading provider of clinical service packages to pharmacists.
As pressure on frontline NHS services intensifies, the company is turning local pharmacies into alternative clinics for a wide range of healthcare services and treatments.
I have started with PharmaDoctor as their only Product Designer in the company and I straight away started leading patient & pharmacist projects.
I have revisited 80% of the patient web application for consultation, starting from the main dashboard to different account pages and consultations.
On the pharmacist site, I have worked closely with stakeholders and the medical team to build different consultation flows ( projects varied from vaccinations to rebuilding the pharmacist platform).
During spring 2021, I also led the allergy project from a UX/UI point of view which allowed the company to win the PM Society awards for innovation and market access.
More about the awards here.
The picture underneath is an example of the V1 dashboard we had on the patient’s site.
This was not responsive and impossible to use with a mobile phone.
My first project with PharmaDoctor was rebuilding this entire flow.
We have tested different solutions with patients and below you can see the new live dashboard results.
As a first step into this project, I firstly looked at the brief and analysed it.
This helped me to identify the problem PharmaDoctor was trying to solve, including its goals, scope, and strategy of the project.
After having done this exercise I had a look into our competitors and how they were approaching this problem, but I also looked into other design examples to really understand the main pain points of the user when using a dashboard.
Low-fi Patient dashboard.
After having created a few low-fi options I have ran an internal A/B testing with stakeholder and PM to understand more about their thoughts and what options they liked the most.
This helped me select the final version of the dashboard and I have then moved the project to the next stage: UI.
This below is the final version of the dashboard.
After the main dashboard was rebuilt, the next project was rebuilding the patient’s consultation.
The below is an example of how the consultation has evolved in the last year.
The project went through a multitude of tests (internal and external) in different phases of the project. This helped me understand the intricate flow of the platform and build an easier and smoother user interaction with the system.
